Your Board of County Commissioners recently adopted a new district map for Taylor County. Your Supervisor of Elections has now started the redistricting process within our database, which means we are reassigning voters into their new district assignments. Since the redistricting affects a large number of addresses throughout the county, we need the time to check and double check before we go live. We anticipate this could take up to 30 days to complete. To continue to be as efficient as possible with your tax dollars, we have suspended the mailing of voter information cards as of April 1st. Once this process is complete, your Supervisor of Elections will be mailing new cards to ALL voters who are registered. We ask for your patience as this is a very tedious process and we are striving for accuracy. In the meantime, if you need proof of registration, we can provide it to you in a printed document, just contact our office at (850)838-3515.
